Most at home on the slower claycourts, Robredo does not have a record to boast about on the Wimbledon grass. He has been beyond the second round only once in seven visits and has never made it through to the second week. A six-time winner on the ATP Tour, Robredo reached his peak of fifth in the rankings in 2006 when he also qualified for the Masters Cup. His powers now appear to be on the wane, although he was a winner on the clay of Warsaw earlier this month so he at least arrives at the All England Club with some confidence.
