There are 2 tennis players in the world at the moment, Federer and Nadal, even Djokovic doesn't really reach the standards these two are setting at the moment. Murray is just a bad loser, normally he will fake injury or pretend he's tired in an attempt to somehow protect his character. He needs to stand up and be counted rather than be an also ran, just like Tim Heman. He needs to improve on his strength speed and agility before he can really think about gettin past round 4 in the opens.

man against boy !!! too much emotional energy wasted in previous game with gasquet. must learn self control and apply more disciplined approach to tactical play. playing a lefty has its advantages as well as disadvantages.goes for all sports. great achievement to get that far though.

Its doubtful anyone, even Federer could have beaten Nadal the way he played against Murray. But I think its obvious that Andy has one fault in his game plan. Its not possible to win a grand slam when every match becomes such an emotional drain on him. The physical effort of 5 sets against Gasquet was one thing but the emotional effort was so draining on him that he never had any hope against Nadal. He will not win a grand slam if he continues in this fashion. Federer realised at an early age that he would have to bring his emotions under control if he was to be successful. Even McEnroe limited himself to the odd outburst, this habit of going insane after every point played whether he wins it or loses it is detrimental to his game.

I think people are being very hard on Andy Murray. I mean Nadal is number 2 in the world and the only thing stopping him from being number 1 is Federer. Nadal and Federer are a class of their own. They have been playing tennis at the top level for a fair few years now and Andy Murray has only just started his Tennis Career. People need to lay of Murray he has had a fantastic run in Wimbledon and got knocked out by the World Number 2 even though he has already beaten world number 8. Good Luck for the rest of the Year Murray!!

Of course Murray is not good enough, thats why he's gone out of Wimbledon at this stage. Same old British Tennis.

Murray has got the skills and temperament alright. However, there are two things lacking which are stamina to play a five setter in Grand Slams and he does not possess the muscular strength like that of Nadal's. He needs to work out in the gym regularly if he wants to win Grand Slams.

Murray got beat by the best player on the planet right now, no disgrace, Will he ever win Wimbledon, my opinion is no, Murray is a good player but to win Grand Slams you have to be a great player and their will always be one player to good for him.

Of course Murray is not good enough, he's British. The standard British sporting partyline is to talk about the greatness of their sportstars before they win anything. People like Sir Alex Ferguson, Steve Redgrave, Bobby Charlton, Martin Johnson, Ryan Giggs - they are great.

The fact of the matter is that Andy Murray is a top 5 in the world player... He is talented enough and has age on his side... his only problem is that he was born into an era with 3 exceptional players in Djokovic, Federer and Nadal, who are all in standing in the way of his Grand Slam dream... With Nadal only being a year older than him I can't see Murray winning too many major tournaments. Only if the big 3 get knocked out by other opponents will Murray have a chance!

murray is 21 and nadal is 22 so murray would never be able to win any grand slam until nadal, djokovic are out injured and he is having the best luck and thats not oing to happen, i think murray would never win a grand slam he dont have the quality touches that other people have

No! I think it would be very harsh to say that he is not good enough. Actually the thing is nadal and federar are really unstoppable. Its very difficult to beat them on any surface. You need a performance which is really extra special to beat these guys. Sure murray will perform well next year.
