Italy

Inter Milan want to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal. The Chile international has been heavily linked with a return to Serie A, and Inter boss Luciano Spalletti believes the former Juventus man could be the missing piece to his puzzle. (Tuttosport)

Inter are also monitoring the progress of Manchester City youngster Brahim Diaz. The 18-year-old is highly regarded at the Etihad and is also believed to be on Real Madrid's radar. Although Diaz is tipped for a big future, there is uncertainty as to when he will break into Pep Guardiola's first-team, and Inter believe they can lure him away by offering him a more prominent role. Former Chelsea midfielder Ramires is edging closer to joining Inter Milan in January. The Brazilian is currently at Jiangsu Suning, but with the Chinese Super League season finishing next month, the door could be open for the 30-year-old to link up with Spalletti's men. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Croatia have approached Carlo Ancelotti over managing them at next summer's World Cup. The former Chelsea and Juventus coach is currently out of work having been sacked by Bayern Munich last month. The Italian has been linked with the vacant manager's position at Leicester City, but he is not looking to make an immediate return to club football. However, while he feels it may to be too soon to take the Italy job, he has been approached by the Croatian federation with an offer to coach the country at the World Cup in a short-term arrangement. Southampton failed in an ambitious bid for Chelsea target Kalidou Koulibaly in the summer. The 26-year-old Napoli defender had been identified by Saints as a possible replacement for Virgil van Dijk. (Calciomercato)

The Manchester United midfielder was spotted by journalists in a large hat after the game in which PSG beat Anderlecht 4-0. However, while Fellaini's appearance sparked transfer speculation, it has been reported that he is merely staying at that hotel while he undergoes rehab for a knee ligament injury. (L'Equipe)

Aston Villa missed out on signing PSG defender Thomas Meunier when he joined the Ligue 1 side in 2016. The Championship club reportedly offered to pay the 26-year-old more money, but he opted for a move to the French capital instead. (SportFoot)

Spain

Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen were being watched by Barcelona during Tottenham's clash with Real Madrid on Tuesday. Barca's sporting director Robert Fernandez watched from the stands as the two sides played out a 1-1 draw in their Champions League group stage clash. Kane has been linked with a £150m move to the European champions in recent weeks. However, Barcelona are keen to see why Kane is attracting so much attention, while they also maintain an interest in Eriksen as a possible alternative to Philippe Coutinho. (Mundo Deportivo)
