Former Arsenal star Tomas Rosicky has returned to former club Sparta Prague, 15 years after leaving the Czech giants.
"I'm really glad to be back. I'm really looking forward to it," said Rosicky after he was unveiled on a two-year contract.
"I'm not coming here just to play. I'm coming here to win.
"The coach Zdenek Scasny gave me my first chance in the top division. It's unbelievable we meet here again."
Sparta's co-owner Daniel Kretinsky added on the club's Twitter feed: "We believe Tomas will help Sparta both on and off the pitch. He's an extraordinary personality.
"Tomas should focus on his player role now, but I hope he'll continue at Sparta even after the end of his career."
Rosicky was given a guard of honour by Arsenal on the final day of last season when his contract expired with Arsene Wenger's side.
The 35-year-old, whose 10-year spell in north London was hampered by injuries, spent three seasons with boyhood team Sparta before joining Dortmund in 2001 for a Bundesliga record fee.
Rosicky, who has 105 international caps, sustained a thigh injury during Euro 2016 and has recently been training with the Gunners to regain his fitness.
The Czech Republic captain has yet to announce if he will continue with the national team.
