Burnley are set to sign Northern Ireland international Chris Baird on a short-term deal, Sky Sports understands.
Baird is a free agent after his deal at Reading came to an end in January.
The 32-year-old impressed during his time at Reading and the club were keen to extend his stay, but were unable to do a deal.
Burnley have now moved in to offer the former Fulham and Southampton man a short-term deal at Turf Moor.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche sees Baird's versatility as a key addition to his squad as they look to maintain their push for promotion to the Premier League.
