Hull have announced the signing of defender Stephen Kingsley from Swansea for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old Scotland international has signed a three-year deal, with Hull having the option of a further year.

Kingsley makes the switch to Hull on the same day midfielder Sam Clucas moved the other way in a deal understood to be worth up to £16.5m.

Sam Clucas has completed his move from Hull to Swansea in a deal that could be worth up to £16.5m.

"I'm delighted to get the deal done," Kingsley told Hull's official website.

"It's come around quite quickly but I'm just delighted it's got over the line now and I can't wait to get training in the morning."

"It's time for me to really kick on now and get plenty of games at a very competitive level like the Championship."

Kingsley made 19 first-team appearances for Swansea after joining from Falkirk in 2014. He also had loan spells at Yeovil and Crewe.
