Borja Valero has thanked Fiorentina's fans for their support and declared that he could never play for another team in Italy.
Spanish midfielder Valero has this week been hit with a four-match domestic ban after being sent off in Monday night's 2-2 draw with Parma in Serie A.
But he received a great reception from the Viola faithful as they drew 1-1 with Esbjerg in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie on Thursday.
Valero has now delivered a message to the supporters to express his gratitude and underline how committed he is to the club, having previously been linked with a move elsewhere.
Writing on his personal Facebook account, Valero said: "After these difficult days for me, I want to thank you for the big support you gave me.
"You are great and I'll have you in my heart.
"Yesterday night was really special for me, and I understood more that I couldn't play at another club in Italy apart from Fiorentina.
"Thanks again and Forza Viola!"
