Manchester City have completed the signing of midfielder Luke Brattan and have sent him on-loan to Bolton Wanderers, according to the Championship club.
Sky sources revealed in September that City were close to signing the former Brisbane Roar player on a free transfer and were intending to send him out on loan once the formalities over a move to the Etihad Stadium had been completed.
City are yet to officially announce the deal, however Bolton have confirmed the 25-year-old has joined the club on-loan from the current Premier League leaders on a deal until January 3.
Neil Lennon's Bolton side currently sit bottom of the Championship and have won only once this season.
Brattan, who was born in Hull, joined Brisbane in 2008 and made 91 league appearances, helping the club win three A-League titles.
He left Brisbane in the summer following a dispute with the club over their failure to pay required superannuation contributions.
Earlier this month, Brattan was called up into the Australia squad for first time in his career for the 2018 World Cup qualifying match with Jordan.
City have, however, confirmed the loan departure of midfielder Bruno Zuculini to Middlesbrough.
The Argentine, 22, has joined Aitor Karanka's side on a month-long loan deal.
