Experienced goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall is the first Bristol Rovers player to agree new terms with the club after all senior professionals were offered a deal for next season.

The 37-year-old, who has also played for Swindon, Notts County, Grimsby, Yeovil, Southend and Millwall, was part of the Rovers team that earned promotion to Sky Bet League One with a 2-1 win over Dagenham & Redbridge on the final day of the season as rivals Accrington could only draw.

Mildenhall has played more than a century of games for Rovers since joining in 2013 and is close to 500 Football League appearances.
