Celtic winger Michael Duffy has joined Scottish Premiership rivals Dundee on a season-long loan deal.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan with Alloa in the Championship, scoring three times in 38 games, including a winner against Hibernian and the opener in a 1-1 draw with champions Rangers at Ibrox.

A Northern Ireland Under-21 international, Duffy joined Celtic from Derry City in 2015 after breaking into their first team at the age of 18. He scored 13 goals in 57 appearances at his home town club, gaining experience of playing and scoring in the Europa League.

Duffy, who has also been capped by Northern Ireland at Under-18 and Under-19 level, goes straight into the Dark Blues squad for Friday's pre-season friendly at Alloa.
