Crewe have signed Chelsea winger Alex Kiwomya on loan until January.
Kiwomya, 20, is eligible to play in Friday's home friendly against Bolton and will stay with the Sky Bet League Two club until January 9.
"Alex arrives on the back of penning a fresh one-year contract extension at Chelsea and will wear the number 22 shirt during his stay at Gresty Road," Crewe confirmed on their official website.
Kiwomya, nephew of former Ipswich and Arsenal striker Chris Kiwomya, progressed through Chelsea's academy after joining from Rotherham in 2010.
He has yet to make the first-team breakthrough at Stamford Bridge but has had previous loan spells at Barnsley and Fleetwood.
