Accrington have announced the signing of Arron Davies on a one-year contract.

The 32-year-old winger spent four seasons at Exeter before his contract expired at the end of last season, appearing 149 times and scoring 10 goals during his time at the south coast club.

Stanley boss John Coleman told the club's website: "He's a talented lad who has played a lot of games in the league and I think we will benefit from his experience."

He started his career at Southampton where he failed to make a single appearance but has gone on to make over 300 league appearances for eight clubs, including Nottingham Forest, Yeovil and Peterborough.
