Ryan Fraser has signed a new three-and-a-half year contract at Bournemouth.
The Scottish winger, who joined the Cherries from Aberdeen in January 2013, will now remain at the Vitality Stadium until 2020.
Fraser has impressed in the Premier League this season, scoring three goals in 13 appearances.
"Ryan has made huge strides in his development this season," manager Eddie Howe said.
"He has had to be patient for a regular opportunity here and the next step was to produce performances on a consistent basis. We are seeing that from him now.
"Ryan deserves all the accolades he has received and hopefully there are many more to come. I see a really bright future for him."
Fraser helped Bournemouth earn promotion to the Sky Bet Championship in 2013 and played 27 times as the south-coast club secured their place in the Premier League in 2015.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Ipswich Town, netting six times in 21 matches before returning to Bournemouth in the summer.
Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake added: "I am delighted that Ryan has put pen to paper on a new contract.
"He has been a very important player for the team this season, especially in the last couple of months, and has proved he is capable of playing at the highest level.
"We believe in producing and developing young, British talent and look forward to seeing Ryan continue to improve in an AFC Bournemouth shirt."
