Crewe have made former Blackburn and Blackpool defender Eddie Nolan their fourth signing of the summer.
The 28-year-old linked up with his new team-mates for the first time this week after agreeing a one-year contract at Gresty Road.
Nolan started his career with Blackburn in 2006 before spells with Preston, Scunthorpe and the Tangerines.
He joins fellow new boys Jordan Bowery, Michael Raynes and Chris Porter for the forthcoming Sky Bet League Two campaign.
