Sunderland duo Wahbi Khazri and Papy Djilobodji to leave on Deadline Day

Sunderland are set to loan wantaway duo Wahbi Khazri and Papy Djilobodji on Transfer Deadline Day.

The Championship club, who have begun the new season with one win in five games after suffering relegation in May, are keen on freeing up funds to secure two more players.

Winger Khazri is on the verge of joining Rennes until the end of the season, while ex-Chelsea defender Djilobodji is in talks with Dijon.

It is understood Sunderland are interested in Bournemouth defender Marc Wilson after having an unsuccessful enquiry for Aston Villa's Tommy Elphick on Wednesday afternoon.
