Justin Kluivert has joined Roma on a five-year deal from Ajax, the club have announced.
The 19-year-old has joined for an initial £15m [€17.25m] with the transfer including a number of performance-related clauses, based on the player and the club.
The Netherlands international was linked with a move to Manchester United but opted for the Italian capital in a move that will keep him at the club until 2023.
"I'm feeling great," Kluivert told the club website. "I'm at an unbelievable club and I can't wait to start.
"I think Roma is a great club for me - I think they can build me into a bigger, stronger player and I can do some nice things here."
Kluivert made 30 appearances for Ajax in the Eredivisie last season, scoring 10 goals, and during the 2017-18 campaign he made his full debut for the national side, coming on as a substitute during a 3-0 win over Portugal in March.
Roma's sporting director Monchi said he was delighted to have signed "one of the most exciting young players in European football".
