Middlesbrough have signed midfielder Diego Fabbrini on a season-long loan deal from Watford.
The 24-year-old Italy international saw his new side draw 0-0 at Doncaster on Saturday and completed the formalities of his move on Monday.
Fabbrini, who made his only appearance for Italy against England in 2012, spent time on loan at Millwall and Birmingham last season.
He progressed through Udinese's youth system, and after a loan stint at Palermo joined Watford on a free transfer in July 2013.
