Jake Kean leaves Blackburn Rovers

Goalkeeper Jake Kean has left Blackburn by mutual agreement, the Sky Bet Championship club have announced.

The 24-year-old made 37 appearances for Rovers following his arrival at Ewood Park from Derby in 2009, and had loan spells with Hartlepool, Rochdale, Yeovil and Oldham.

"Blackburn Rovers and Jake Kean confirm the player's departure from the club by mutual agreement," a club statement read.

"The club thanks Jake for his work and dedication during his time at Ewood Park and wishes him all the best for the future."

The former England Under-20 international made 16 appearances in Sky Bet League 1 last term - five for Yeovil and then 11 for Oldham.
