Andrea Pirlo has confirmed that he is set to sign a new deal with Juventus.
The 34-year-old midfielder has always insisted that he would be staying in Turin, despite being linked with a host of clubs across the world.
Pirlo, who is set to feature for Italy at the World Cup finals this summer, says he is close to putting pen-to-paper.
"We are close," he told Radio Dee Jay.
"We are waiting only for the right moment to meet and to decide everything."
Pirlo believes he is still capable of playing at the top-level.
"I think I am able to for another few years at this level. When I don't see myself at the top, I'll be the first to know. But whilst I feel good, I'll continue playing."
