Latest under our scout's gaze is Maccabi midfielder Eyal Golasa - recommended by Sky Sports reader Christian Daniels.
The scout reports...
The Sky Sports Scouts checks on Israeli starlet Eyal Golasa, with huge things predicted for teenager.
Golasa began his career with youth side Beitar Nes Tubruk, but as early as 14 he was attracting attention from abroad and underwent trials with both Tottenham and Paris Saint Germain. The French giants wanted to sign him, but a deal failed to materialise.
Instead he was back with Beitar and in 2006 Maccabi paid around £250,000 for him and his twin-brother Orel, who is a defender.
2008 was his breakthrough year for Maccabi and he played a major role in getting them to the UEFA Champions League group stages that year.
He is now one of the creative forces in the Maccabi side, and his performances have seen him now called into the national set-up and he made his full debut earlier this year.
His talent, though, has also not gone unnoticed from some of Europe's top clubs and indeed Lazio thought they had sealed his signature earlier this year when Golasa penned a contract with the Rome club - only to then fly back to Israel and opt against the move.
Lazio remain keen to sign him, but the likes of Arsenal are also said to be keen on Golasa, who looks to be a huge talent, but just how good?
Well many liken him to previous Israeli exports like Yossi Benayoun or Eyal Berkovic, and to be fair the latter would be a closer comparison.
Golasa is strong and has excellent feet which makes him hard to knock off the ball, this allows him to get into good goalscoring opportunities.
Some have been critical of his shooting, but he does possess an excellent shot, with the main issue being his decision when to go for goal rather than create the opportunity for someone else.
His passing range is excellent and he has the ability to dominate a game. He can tackle, but given his physique it is not his best ability but then again a player of his attacking ability should concentrate on the last third.
It is not hard to see why some of Europe's clubs are now battling to land his signature as, despite being just 18, he looks as if he could be ready for first-team action almost immediately.
The scout says...
A really outstanding prospect and it seems inevitable that in the next 12 months he will be moving on and his choice of club will be crucial.
The likes of Berkovic and Benayoun are considered Israel's finest products in recent years, but Golasa could become the best yet.
