Latest under our scout's gaze is Internacional's Oscar - recommended by Sky Sports reader Peter Hanson.
The scout reports...
Oscar seems to be on the verge of joining Chelsea and we check on the man labelled as one of the best young players in world football.
He began his career with local side Uniao Barbarense before being spotted by Sao Paulo when aged 13.
Having progressed through the youth ranks, he was handed his debut for Sao Paulo aged just 18 - but soon after he was to leave the club after an argument over his contract.
Despite being called into Brazil's youth squad, his career was sidelined for a number of months due to the wrangle with Sao Paulo - as he claimed a free transfer and joined Inter.
After a court battle, Sao Paulo eventually agreed a deal with Inter for his sale in 2010 when they received a then Brazilian record of £4.75million - but little over two years on, they realise they may not have got the great deal they thought.
In the last 12 months, Oscar has progressed phenomenally well, becoming a lynchpin for Inter - playing off their star striker Leandro Damiao.
Oscar also led Brazil to the 2011World Youth Cup, scoring a hat-trick in the final and really bringing him to the attention of clubs across Europe.
10 goals for Inter in the following season highlighted his progress again and now many regard him as the best young attacking midfielder in his country. He will feature for the Olympic side, and is now preferred at international level to Santos gem Ganso.
Oscar, even by Brazilian standards, is a wonderfully gifted player - two-footed with breathtaking close control. His main weapon is his vision, but this would be wasted if he did not have the excellent passing ability to go with it.
Composure is also a word commonly used for him and, as his goalscoring record shows, he has a real eye for goal too.
It is hard for any attacking midfielder like him not to be likened to Kaka, but given his relatively similar stature - it is an easy comparison to make.
Physically he can improve, but by the same token Oscar will not back out of a tackle and will work hard in his own half - although any manager will want him to push on and do damage at the other end.
Chelsea now look to have fought off competition for his signature, paying around £25million for his signature.
The scout says...
The fact a club is willing to pay £25million for a player straight from Brazil speaks volumes - European champions Chelsea believe Oscar is ready.
The Olympics will give us all in England an early chance to see him adapt to conditions in the UK - but seeing him in the Premier League come August looks a mouthwatering prospect.
