Latest under our scout's gaze is Real Madrid's Jese - recommended by Sky Sports reader Brian Stanning.
The scout reports...
Real Madrid have struggled to match the conveyor belt of talent of rivals Barcelona in recent years, but young Jese could be about to help balance things up.
Jese began playing as a youth on his native Canary Islands and joined El Pilar aged just 10, before moving onto Huracan.
By 14 Jese's progress was spotted by Real and he was signed to their youth system.
Jese soon progressed through Real's youth set-up and was called up by their B side - Castilla - aged just 17 and made his debut in January 2011.
By this point Jese was already a regular for Spain's international sides and has become one of their most highly-rated performers at youth level. He was top-scorer at this year's European Under 19 Championship, which Spain won.
Just months after making his bow for the reserve side, he was called up to the first-team squad's pre-season tour of America by Jose Mourinho.
After returning he stayed with Castilla for the season, but his progress was continually recognised by Mourinho and was called into Real's squad for the Champions League match at Ajax in December.
Just two weeks later he was handed his debut for the senior side against Ponferradina for the Copa del Rey first round clash - replacing Cristiano Ronaldo, the man many liken him too.
He made his La Liga debut in March this year, again replacing Ronaldo. The pressure is now on Jese to make the big step into becoming a regular, something many of Real's recent products have failed to do.
But expectations are high. Indeed, Jese has been linked with moves away from the capital already, with clubs including Manchester United said to be watching his progress.
However, the impressive winger is more than happy to challenge for his place. Quick and agile, he is predominantly a wide-man.
He loves running at players and his close control make him a real threat when attacking an opponent's box. Full of tricks and with a slight swagger, it is easy to see why he has been compared to Ronaldo.
And like the Portuguese he has a real eye for goal; all in all, a real talent.
The scout says...
A big year is coming up for Jese. Jose Mourinho has a lot of time for him and is keen for him to progress.
He certainly has the ability and Real have genuine hopes that Spain's next big talent can come from the Bernabeu rather than Camp Nou.
