I can't believe reading what wesley schnieder said that barca is a lucky team and the play like individuals and not a team, and that real Madrid play as a team! Schnieder if real were playing more like a team they would not be 12 points behind us! Anyway Spanish football is great and skysports coverage is excellent along with the weekly show and podcast! I always get asked why I don't support an English team! The reason is I never start watching football properly until the 1998 world cup and rivaldo was my favourite player ever since then I have supported barca through the good and bad times! Barca 4 life!

Top Quality show--now that I live in the US, I regretfully do not have access to the various subscriptions available for those of you in the UK, so having this podcast and game culture analysis is a fine for me. As someone who loves football, from many regions and leagues, and especially La Liga, to have this podcast and league and gossip analysis from Bolton, Hunter, and Balague, is a nice way for me to shoot the breeze as I drive into work from across the pond. I like the premiership, and you can't deny that it's a top, top league with great, exciting players, but the certitude and the terrible attitude of dismissal you often see from even the premier football journalists in England is laughable. Clearly La Liga is just as entertaining as the Premier League, with the kind of competition that is rarely seen in England's finest--if United win the league again this year, can anyone really say the Premier League is unpredictable? I hope they don't, but they have as good as a chance as any...a few years ago, Barcelona, Sevilla, and Real Madrid all had the opportunity to win the league on the final day of the season...what chance that, say, Chelsea, Liverpool, and United will all go in the last day of this season with a chance to win the league?...I have my doubts... And, as for those of you who feel that Ronaldo is light years ahead of Messi for the accolades he has been receiving lately, well, I won't giving any reactionary comments to testify that Ronaldo is 'rubbish' or a 'bottler'--that's nonsense. But, to contend that he's 35% better in votes as a footballer than Messi is foolish.... Please remind us where Ronaldo was oh-so ready to do his two-step in the summer....he couldn't wait to go to La Liga, no? Why?

Berdnt Shuster (Worcester City fan) says...

Excellent news. I regularly miss the airing of La Liga (and forgot to record), but the Xtra service will make it a thing of the past! Echo the setiments of Pa Nas. Would like to hear more of Graham Hunter in particular, maybe with more regular input from Spanish journos. I can understand the coverage bias towards the usual culprits, but would be interesting to get some perspective from the Gullem, Graham, and a guest journo?

Maciej Podgorski says...

Great job guys! I absolutely love revista as i am really enjoying la liga rather than boring premiership. But please could you talk a lot more about Valencia or Sevilla instead of fucusing only on the two big boys.
