Three years ago in Beijing, British gymnast Louis Smith won a bronze medal on the pommel horse. Next year in London, he wants to do even better.

The 22-year-old is the subject of this week's Special Report and allowed our cameras into his life as the 2012 Olympics draw ever closer.

We spent a week with him at the British Camp at Lilleshall where he showed us the routine he hopes will win him gold, and his typical training schedule.

Louis also looks ahead to next month's World Championships in Tokyo, while we hear from his coach and performance director, as well as Beth Tweddle and some of the other British gymnasts.

The Peterborough-born star opens up about being raised in a single-parent household and how gymnastics gave him discipline and focus.

Plus, we get to see Louis enjoying the glitz and glamour of London Fashion week - and he also tells us about his X Factor audition...
