Fraser: Ashes pedigree

CRICKET WRITERS ON TV
9am, Sun, Sky Sports 1

It's the burning issue of the moment - so don't miss the inside track on the Ashes as brought to you by Cricket Writers on TV.

After an interminable build-up, the first Test is well underway and our esteemed panel will bring you the latest on who's hot and who's not at Cardiff - and why.

Simon Wilde of the Sunday Times and the Observer's Kevin Mitchell join host Paul Allott in the studio along with former cricket correspondent for The Independent Angus Fraser, now managing director of cricket at Middlesex.

We'll get their assessment of how Cardiff has stood up to the rigours of Test cricket - both the ground and the city - and discuss all of the major talking points from the opening exchanges between England and Australia.

No doubt Kevin Pietersen's contribution will be in the thick of things following the manner of his first-day dismissal as will Ricky Ponting after he successfully became only the fourth player in Test history to pass 11.000 runs.

There will also be plenty of opportunity to assess the form of both sides and, with the second Test starting on Thursday, who should get suited for Lord's and who deserves to get booted.

So don't miss Cricket Writer's on TV this Sunday at 9am on Sky Sports 1 .
