Martin Corry has had to face some tough questions from Graham Simmons, especially when he was captaining England during their reign of horror.

Labelled the worst World Champions ever, England lost eight games out of nine which saw England coach Andy Robinson lose his job.

However the roles are reversed as it is Corry's chance to ask the awkward questions. And after softening him up with some questions about his dress sense, Corry quickly turns to Simmons' treatment of Robinson.

"The Robbo situation," starts Corry. "After the Argentina game you wouldn't let him out until he basically said he had to resign."

"Well it was not a case of him saying he had to resign," explained Simmons. "Rather just getting him to answer the question.

"That was the question on everyone's lips at the time. Everybody in the stadium and in the media were saying 'How much longer has Andy got.'"

Corry feels that perhaps journalists should get to know the players a bit better before they tried to show them in a certain light.

"Don't you think it is right to spend more time getting to know the players in a social or a more relaxed environment so you can find out what the players are really about?

"So when you ask the question the players are actually portrayed in the right light rather than in a light in which you think they ought to be portrayed?

" I don't think they should be portrayed in any kind of light," responds Simmons.

"I just think you should ask them the questions. I understand what you are saying, but the trouble with that is that if you get too close to the players then you are not going to ask the difficult questions because you are mates.

"That is a bad situation to get into."

Both soon to more familiar roles as Simmons questions Corry on Leicester who are looking ominous especially after beating Gloucester at Kingsholm.

"There is an air of confidence about us and where we are going," said Corry.

"But that can only continue if we keep on performing.

"It is easy to say that on the back of three wins, but if we lose on Sunday against London Irish, well then we are back at square one and all we have got is a run of three wins."
