This week on Tight Lines Keith will be joined by Ruth Lockwood - chair of the English Carp Heritage Organisation, owner of Yateley Angling Centre, and a prominent figure in angling politics.

They will have plenty to talk about and top of the agenda will be the potential future of the Angling Trust.

Ruth also cares deeply about fish welfare and she'll be bringing in some items from her stock that should be in every angler's kit.

President of the British Disabled Angling Association Terry Moseley invited us along to Wales' only purpose built 'disabled-friendly' fishery.

Set in the beautiful countryside of Aeron Valley, West Wales, family run Teglan Fisheries is owned by Mark Owen and his father David. Terry and Mark, who was left paralysed 12 years ago following a motorbike accident, show us they won't be beaten by their disabilities and set about catching carp...on the fly.

Andy Ford went along to Stoney & Friends charity match, organised by founder Allan Stone. The three-day match took place at Yateley Bait Tech Complex with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer support. The committee consists of the great and the good of angling including our very own Keith Arthur as Vice-President.

And Tight Lines viewers are in for a treat as this week's guest Ruth recently set up a band and persuaded Keith to be the vocalist! 'Stoney's Friends' closed the show - almost literally!

And of course there's the chance to pick up some great advice from Keith as he looks ahead to the weekend's prospects. There'll be information on conditions, some typical venues for all types of fishing, and the most effective baits and tactics.

On next week's show Keith will be joined by all-rounder Jan Porter. He'll be talking to us about fishing in his favourite time of year: September and beyond.
