The International Champions Cup is underway - Sky Sports brings you the ultimate guide to the worldwide competition.

Seventeen high-profile clubs have taken part in three mini-tournaments in four locations - Australia, China, the United States and Europe. The tournament began on Friday, July 22, and runs until Saturday, August 13.

Respective league champions Leicester City, Juventus, Bayern Munich, PSG and Barcelona have been among those in action, as well as Pep Guardiola's new side Manchester City and their rivals Manchester United under Jose Mourinho. Some of the biggest clashes will be shown live on Sky Sports.

The teams invited to take part have been split between the locations and will each play up to three games, with the champions of each group decided on a points-based system.

There are two games remaining in the tournament - all times are BST and dates correspond with UK coverage.

Saturday August 6 - Liverpool v Barcelona at Wembley Stadium, London (5pm, live on Sky Sports 1)

In one of only two games to be played in the UK, Liverpool face Barcelona at Wembley to round off a busy pre-season.

With just a week before the Premier League season gets underway, Klopp will be looking for a good performance from his side as they prepare for their opener against Arsenal on August 14, live on Sky Sports.

In the battle between Scottish and English champions, Leicester City came out on top thanks to a 6-5 penalty shoot-out victory. Eoghan O'Connell levelled after Riyad Mahrez's stunner and after James Forrest fluffed his lines from the spot, Daniel Amartey sealed victory for the Foxes.

Sun Jul 24: Inter Milan 1-3 Paris Saint-Germain

Serge Aurier's double gave PSG a 3-1 victory over Inter in Eugene, Oregon. Aurier opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Hatem Ben Arfa's free-kick was spilled and the Ivory Coast international tapped home. Stevan Jovetic equalised with a penalty in first-half stoppage time, but further goals from Layvin Kurzawa and Aurier again sealed victory for the French champions.

Tue Jul 26: Juventus 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur

An inexperienced Tottenham side - without the likes of Harry Kane and Eric Dier - went down 2-1 in Melbourne. Wed Jul 27 : Real Madrid 1-3 Paris Saint-Germain

The French champions made it three wins in friendlies for new coach Unai Emery as a first-half brace from Thomas Meunier and a Nanitamo Ikone strike saw off a Madrid side that were without most of their first-team players, although first-choice left-back Marcelo scored from the penalty spot.

Wed Jul 27: Bayern Munich 3-3 AC Milan (4-5 pens)

M'baye Niang gave AC Milan an early lead, but the lead only lasted six minutes though as Franck Ribery got the first of his two goals, before David Alaba fired Bayern in front for the first time. Andrea Bertolacci equalised just minutes after the restart before Juraj Kucka netted, however, a late rally from Bayern brought them level once again.

Wed Jul 27: Chelsea 1-0 Liverpool

Cesc Fabregas was sent off as Chelsea narrowly beat Liverpool in a feisty clash in California. Gary Cahill headed what proved to be the winner with just 10 minutes on the clock at the Pasadena Rose Bowl as Chelsea kicked off their tournament with a victory in what was a physical clash between two Premier League giants.

City looked on course to end their pre-season tour with a narrow victory in Shenzhen after substitute Sergio Aguero rounded off a fine move 11 minutes from time to hand them the lead. But victory was snatched from their grasp right at the end when Christian Pulisic's 95th-minute equaliser sent the game to penalties, which Pep Guardiola's side won 6-5.

Fri Jul 29 : Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 Atletico Madrid

Having been overrun against Juventus in their first ICC outing, Spurs put in an improved performance at the MCG on Friday, hitting the woodwork twice in the first half. But their inability to take their chances haunted them as Diego Godin struck five minutes before the interval to hand Diego Simeone's side victory.

Sat Jul 30: Celtic 1-3 Barcelona

Barcelona picked up a 3-1 victory over Celtic in their opening International Champions Cup fixture at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin. Arda Turan fired the Catalonians ahead before an own goal by Efe Ambrose and a further strike from Munir El Haddadi secured the result before half-time, despite Leigh Griffths scoring for Celtic.

Sat Jul 30: Real Madrid 3-2 Chelsea

An under-strength Real Madrid side beat Chelsea 3-2 in Michigan thanks to a quick-fire Marcelo brace followed by a wonder strike from forward Mariano Diaz Mejia. Substitute Eden Hazard scored two late goals to set up a tense finish in front of 105,826 fans at the Michigan Stadium.

Sat Jul 30: Inter Milan 1-4 Bayern Munich

Julian Green scored a first-half hat-trick as Bayern Munich ran riot in the first-half in Charlotte, North Carolina. Franck Ribery scored Bayern's second goal of the night and despite Mauro Icardi's 90th-minute consolation it was a simple victory for Carlo Ancelotti's side.

Sun Jul 31: Liverpool 2-0 AC Milan

Goals from substitutes Divock Origi and Roberto Firmino earned Liverpool a 2-0 win. New signings Georginio Wijnaldum, Ragnar Klavan and Sadio Mane all started the friendly match at Levi's Stadium in California, but it was two familiar faces that earned the victory from the bench.
