The Bundesliga's best will descend on Wembley for the maiden all-German Champions League final. Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund put paid to Spanish heavyweights Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively in the semi-finals to ensure that a German team will claim European's football's ultimate prize for the first time since Bayern scooped it in 2001. 3. Scottish Cup Final - Celtic v Hibernian - Sky Sports 3 - Sun, 2.30pm
There will be a titanic tussle north of the border, too, as Celtic and Hibernian contest the 128th Scottish Cup final. If the clash is half as entertaining as the barmy set of semi-finals, in which Neil Lennon's Bhoys edged Dundee United 4-3 and Pat Fenlon's Hibees pipped Falkirk by the same scoreline having fallen 3-0 down, you will be in for a treat. Hibernian will be striving to go one better than last year when they were downed by Edinburgh adversaries Hearts, while Celtic will be looking to snare their 36th Scottish Cup triumph. Watch the action unfold on Sunday afternoon.
4. Super League Magic Weekend - Sat & Sun
Manchester City's Etihad Stadium will play host to the seventh annual Magic Weekend, which sees each of the 14 Super League sides in action over a two-day period. There are some enticing games on offer including a Humberside derby between Hull FC and Hull KR, a West Yorkshire ding-dong as Castleford and Wakefield square off, and a duel between St Helens and Warrington, while the drama concludes on Sunday evening when table-toppers Wigan pit their wits against Leeds, Super League Champions in five of the previous six seasons. Join Eddie Hemmings and the boys for tries aplenty.
5. 5. England v New Zealand - 2nd Test - Fri-Tue
England found New Zealand a tough nut to crack away from home this spring and, let's be honest, the Kiwis were not easy pickings for the majority of the first Test at Lord's either. But a bowling blitz from Stuart Broad in the tourists' second innings ensured Alastair Cook's men skittled their opponents out for 68 and won the contest out by 170 runs. The hosts continue their Ashes preparations at Headingley this week in their final Test before Australia come calling, so make sure you remain glued to day two and three to see how Broad, Yorkshire favourite Joe Root and swing-bowling extraordinaire James Anderson get on.
