Huddersfield and Blackpool battle it out for Friday night bragging rights and a huge east Midlands derby follows on Saturday as Sky Sports continues to serve up live Football League.
It's another action-packed weekend in the Football League and it kicks off on Friday night when Huddersfield take on high-flying Blackpool in the Championship at the John Smith's Stadium.
The Seasiders will head to the Terriers full of confidence as they sit in fourth in the table - although the hosts aren't far behind in ninth despite just one victory from their last four games.
Either way, it's sure to be a feisty affair in west Yorkshire, with both sides focusing their energies on the league having suffered disappointing exits in the Capital One Cup.
On to the main course, and few who have experienced the nature of a Nottingham Forest v Derby clash will need the importance of this game explaining to them.
As well as the natural rivalry between the east Midlands' proudest football clubs, there are countless sub-plots to sift through - most involving Forest manager Billy Davies and Rams counterpart Nigel Clough.
Davies managed Derby before taking the reins at the City Ground for his first stint in 2008, while Clough played for Forest under his father Brian, who also famously managed both clubs with great success.
To tangle the web even further, Davies and Clough clashed during a touchline skirmish when the clubs met in early 2010 - with the Scot claiming Clough 'kneed' him in the back of the leg during an ugly tussle involving players and officials from both sides.
It's a clash not to be missed, with goals and plenty of aggression all but guaranteed at the City Ground as the rivals look to build on solids starts to the campaign.
