Sky Sports for iPad will introduce a new look and a range of new features to accompany the launch of Sky Sports News HQ on Tuesday August 12.
Sky Sports News HQ will have its own dedicated iPad section featuring a live stream of the channel, supported by the stories making the day’s headlines and a selection of featured video on demand.
Users can also interact with polls and join the debate using email and Twitter.
There will also be a new second screen experience for selected PGA Tour events, featuring highlights, stats and split screen video streams.
And there will be various improvements made to all the features of the app, such as improved video quality, more interactive content and access to all seven Sky Sports channels; including Sky Sports 5.
All the enhanced experiences you’ve come to expect from Sky Sports for iPad will return, including:

Sky Sports for iPad is free for Sky Sports subscribers. Non-subscribers can pay £4.99 a month to access the app and Sky Sports News HQ streams (other channels are not available to non-subscribers)
