The American golfing season builds towards a climax this weekend with the start of the FedEx Cup events and you can follow every drive, chip and putt with Sky Sports for iPad’s new PGA Tour Companion.

An initial 125-strong field will compete for The Barclays in New Jersey in the first of four back-to-back tournaments to decide on the PGA Tour champion for 2014. Eventually the field will be whittled down to 30 for the finale at the TOUR Championship in Atlanta, where someone will be crowned FedEx Cup champion and pocket a bonus cheque for $10m.

Sky Sports subscribers can watch live Sky Sports 4 coverage and also follow a featured group throughout the day and catch the best of the action thanks to in-running video highlights. There will be pre-tournament features and post-event reaction, a curated Twitter feed and, of course, an up-to-date leaderboard.

You can also watch the featured group stream on skysports.com/pgatour and via the red button on Sky Sports 4.
