A sports-mad youngster gets a surprise from her idol Jessica Ennis-Hill in this week's My Special Day.
Twelve-year-old Alicia Armstrong watched her heroine win hepthalon gold at last summer's London Olympics as she recovered at home from a gruelling course of treatment for leukemia.
Alicia, from Hexham in Northumberland, was diagnosed with a particularly aggressive form of the disease aged 10 and was forced to spend seven months in isolation.
But she was finally declared in remission earlier this year and after returning to her local triathlon club, she completed the Great North Junior Run in September.
One morning last month was shaping up to be just a normal one at St Josephs' Middle School as pupils filed in for assembly - until Alicia and her pals noticed the Sky Sports cameras.
On a television screen in the school hall, Jessica delivered a personal video message to Alicia, before inviting her for a special training session at the English Institute of Sport.
See how Alicia's surprise unfolded - and how Jessica gave her a day to remember on Sky Sports News on Wednesday.
