Ringside caught up with British Boxing Board of Control general secretary Robert Smith for a chat about the state of the sport in this country.
There have been plenty of issues for the BBBofC to deal with over the last year or so following David Haye and Dereck Chisora's brawl in Munich, fighters such as Dillian Whyte and John Donnelly failing drugs tests, and the tragic death of Michael Norgrove.
But Smith believes he and his administrators have handled their responsibilities well and promised that the organisation will undergo a series of changes to ensure that their governance remains strong.
