Joe Calzaghe is heading for the Hall of Fame and admits it will be a humbling experience.
The unbeaten former super-middleweight star has been nominated alongside Oscar de la Hoya and Felix Trinidad for the 2014 indiction in June.
The Welshman is also joined by promoter Barry Hearn as well as referee Richard Steele, journalist Graham Houston and photographer Neil Leifer among others.
And although he won 46 fights and numerous world title tussles, Calzaghe says this might be one of the happiest decisions that has gone his way.
"I'm very proud," he told Ringside.
"When I was given the news it was my 25th anniversary so to be inducted in the same year as greats like Felix Trinidad and Oscar de la Hoya is great - for me and my family.
"All the years of hard work - and my dad's - have made me very proud. It's very humbling. It's brilliant to be recognised especially Stateside as well, for my achievements.
"It's fantastic. I know not every world champion can get in there but that means my name is going to be up there!"
