Storage Hunters star Jesse McClure joined the Soccer AM gang to chat about his new find, Stoke City.

Each episode Jesse goes head-to-head with the show's other reality stars, that include high-tempered husband and wife Brandon and Lori and bizarre bidder T-Money, to buy abandoned storage containers across America.

But during his trip across the pond the Californian has sniffed out a new treasure, a Premier League football team...

"I have taken Stoke City on, I am a Potters fan, I can't help it I'm sorry: Geoff Cameron, Mark Hughes - they're my boys," McClure told Helen and Max on Soccer AM.

"People are always bagging on the old Stokies that they aren't the best but I love passion and I love the fans being loud and proud.

"I got invited by my mate Terry who lives up there. They invited me out and there was over 27,000 people there which was great because we don't really have many huge outdoor professional sports (in the US).

"I came from LA and landed in Manchester just briefly. I had a stop watch and I kept track because I had to immediately go to Liverpool, but I think I was just there longer than David Moyes!"

What's the best thing you've ever found in a locker?

JESSE SAYS: My best score was $42,000 in vintage cameras. I paid a few thousand bucks for it so it was huge turnover.

What's the most you've ever spent on a locker?

JESSE SAYS: There's a couple of cars I spent $8,000 or $9,000, but I have to go home to my amazing wife every day and she doesn't get too happy If I come home a loser.

Is your house full of rubbish?

JESSE SAYS: It started to and then I got to the point where I was slowly becoming one of those old ladies that has 19 cats and there's floor-to-ceiling stuff, so I decided I didn't want to be one of those people; everything I get I have to sell no matter how awesome it is.

Make sure you watch the video above where Jesse, joined by some uncanny lookalikes, tries his hand at some slightly different in 'Sturridge Hunters'.
