England Women have made a confident start to their Ashes tour after they dominated the opening day of the warm-up clash with Australia A.
Heather Knight's brilliant century provided the backbone to England's total of 362-7 by stumps at the Floreat Park Oval in Perth.
Opener Knight plundered 123 off 174 deliveries, including 20 boundaries, before she retired to give her team-mates some valuable time out in the middle.
Lydia Greenway also weighed in with 76, while Charlotte Edwards smashed 77 off 102 balls during an impressive opening stand with Knight.
Together Edwards and Knight put on 135 runs to get England off to a flying start after winning the toss.
Edwards was eventually trapped leg before by Jess Jonassen, with the 21-year-old slow left-armer also accounting for Sarah Taylor (10).
With Knight heading back to the pavilion at the end of the 59th over, Arran Brindle came in and hit 21 before edged Kristen Beams behind to Alyssa Healy.
Greenway and Natalie Sciver appeared to be putting together a tidy partnership before Australia A hit back late in the day.
Sciver (30) was clean bowled by Rachael Haynes, while Greenway was given out lbw after being struck on the foot by a full delivery from Nicole Bolton.
Jenny Gunn (5) then departed in the final over after edging a cut through to Healy off Bolton (2-17).
