Sean Fitzpatrick is back with his favourite bone-crunching hits

Sean Fitzpatrick has selected his favourite hits from round five of Super Rugby.

The All Blacks legend's former side, the Blues, returned to winning ways against the Bulls, although Blake Gibson was punished for fumbling a pass when he was smashed by Ruan Steenkamp.

Down in Christchurch, Western Force debutant Alex Newsome made his presence felt with a big tackle on Mitchell Hunt after the fly-half caught a high ball, while Crusaders No 8 Jordan Taufua put Kane Koteka on his backside with a powerful run.

Sefa Naivalu's well-timed hit downed Reece Robinson in Melbourne, but the Rebels wing had no answer to the power of Taqele Naiyaravoro when the former Glasgow Warrior was sprung from the bench.

Raymond Rhule did well to get his pass away before being hammered by Kobus van Wyk during the Cheetahs' loss to the Sharks, while up in Canberra Henry Speight was stopped in his tracks by two Highlanders front-rowers.
