SummerSlam will return to Brooklyn's Barclays Center in 2016 and 2017, WWE has announced.
WWE's August extravaganza was staged at the New York arena this year, with high-profile matches including Brock Lesnar versus The Undertaker as well as John Cena's clash with Seth Rollins.
Actor Stephen Amell, best known for starring in superhero drama Arrow, teamed with Neville to face Bad News Barrett and Stardust, while former Daily Show anchor Jon Stewart hosted the event.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio told WWE.com: "We are thrilled to build on the success of the 2015 SummerSlam and welcome WWE back to Brooklyn in 2016 and 2017.
"Big events like SummerSlam help cement New York City's appeal as a dynamic, high-energy destination. We're thankful for WWE's commitment to Brooklyn, and look forward to a long partnership that benefits the City."
WWE sold out the Barclays Center three nights in a row this August, with SummerSlam, the preceding NXT Takeover: Brooklyn show and the subsequent Monday Night Raw fully booked.
An NXT event and Raw will continue to sandwich SummerSlam at the Barclays Center over the next two years, with an array of community outreach events also taking place across the week.
"We are pleased that SummerSlam Week will once again take over New York City in August of 2016 and 2017," said John P. Saboor, WWE Executive Vice President, Special Events.
"We look forward to building on the success of this year's event to take SummerSlam Week to even greater heights."
SummerSlam ticket details will be released in due course.
