WWE: Brock Lesnar annihilates Big Show at Madison Square Garden

Anomaly to meet Undertaker at Hell in a Cell in late October

Brock Lesnar delivered a strong message to The Undertaker by decimating Big Show when WWE hit the iconic Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

Lesnar and The Undertaker will go to war inside Hell in a Cell on October 25 and The Anomaly will head into that brawl with momentum having beaten The World's Largest Athlete by pinfall.

Big Show, crushed by a chair-wielding Lesnar when the powerhouses last met at the 2014 Royal Rumble, clobbered The Beast Incarnate with three chokeslams early in their New York scrap.

But Lesnar's riposte was to take the giant to Suplex City - a place John Cena, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are all too familiar with - before polishing him off with a monstrous F5.

The former WWE and UFC Heavyweight Champion was not finished causing carnage, though, returning to the ring to administer a belly-to-belly suplex and, finally, a second F5.

Rollins, meanwhile, saw his hopes of regaining the coveted United States Championship from John Cena inside of a steel cage dashed by Kane.

The Aerialist though better of escaping the metal structure with his satanic enemy lurking at ringside but as he tried to hit Cena with a frog splash, he was given an Attitude Adjustment and pinned.

Rollins' frustration was complete when Kane entered the ring post-match and proceeded to clobber the WWE World Heavyweight Champion him with a chokeslam and a Tombstone Piledriver.

WWE veterans The Dudley Boyz and Chris Jericho were also foiled in their bid to strike gold in New York, outfoxed by The New Day and Kevin Owens respectively.

Bubba Ray and D-Von seemed set to poach the WWE Tag Team Titles for the 10th time when they cracked Kofi Kingston with a 3D, only to see Xavier Woods break up the subsequent pin attempt.

Woods' interference ensured the clash ended in disqualification and that The New Day retained their straps - but it also irked The Dudleyz so much that they sent him crashing through a table.

Jericho was on the verge of securing his 10th Intercontinental Championship having all-but locked in the Walls of Jericho on Owens but the NXT graduate then raked his fellow Canadian's eyes before rolling him up to keep hold of his strap.

Elsewhere, Becky Lynch and Charlotte abandoned Paige as Team PCB lost to Team Bella, while Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler teamed up to down Sheamus and Rusev; and Neville conquered Stardust with a Red Arrow.
