Daniel Bryan named Smackdown's Survivor Series squad to take on Raw – and explained why he omitted The Miz

Daniel Bryan has named Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and Baron Corbin in Smackdown's team to take on Raw at WWE Survivor Series.

The general manager's chosen quintet will face Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and an as-yet unnamed Raw star at WWE's November 20 pay-per-view, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Ambrose and Styles will be forced to put personal issues aside, with the two due to face off for Styles' WWE World Title in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match on Sunday, December 4.

But the match will give Orton and Wyatt a chance to showcase their teamwork, with The Viper forging a surprise alliance with The Eater of Worlds on Smackdown over recent weeks.

Smackdown's women's squad to take on Raw at Survivor Series is also complete - Nikki Bella will captain Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Carmella and Naomi, with Natalya serving as the side's coach.
