Roman Reigns is set to defend his Intercontinental title against Samoa Joe on the first Monday Night Raw of 2018, on Sky Sports Action at 1am.
Raw general manager Kurt Angle confirmed the match on Twitter with the added stipulation that the title will change hands if Reigns is disqualified in Miami.
The Big Dog was disqualified during his match against Samoa Joe on Christmas Day for shoving the referee, an action for which he was fined £5,000.
The match had been a hard-hitting encounter up to that point with both men taking turns to dominate and neither one the clear winner.
Reigns has successfully defended his Intercontinental title against several opponents in open challenges on Raw, including Jason Jordan, Elias and Cesaro.
Alexander gets his shot
Cedric Alexander will fight Enzo Amore for his Cruiserweight championship after coming through two qualifying matches to become the number one contender.
Alexander scored the victorious pinfall in the 'Miracle on 34th Street Fight' six-man tag team match on the Christmas Day Raw, getting the three-count on Ariya Daivari after a Lumbar Check.
Champion Amore goes into the match as the underdog but often finds a way to win matches, usually with the assistance of his Zo Train faction.
The Beast is back
Brock Lesnar is back in Miami this week, returning to the arena in which he made his WWE return in 2012 with a huge win over John Cena.
As it stands, the Universal champion will be defending his belt in a triple threat against Braun Strowman and Kane.
But things can always change...
