Shane McMahon has undergone surgery to repair a hernia injury.
McMahon, who is currently the on-screen commissioner of SmackDown, most recently competed at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia last month.
He had been a doubt for his match at WrestleMania earlier in April, in which he was teaming with Daniel Bryan against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, due to diverticulitis and several other problems stemming from that condition, one of which was the hernia.

Chris Jericho had been placed on standby to replace McMahon had he not been medically cleared to compete in the huge event in New Orleans, but was not required.
The procedure took place in New York, and 48-year-old McMahon is now recovering with his family, with a return date to SmackDown duties not yet known.
