Daniel Bryan came out on top in a first-ever match against Jeff Hardy, to advance to a Money In The Bank qualifier.
The duo stepped into the ring together for the first time in their careers and delivered an excellent match, in which Bryan emerged victorious after forcing Hardy to tap out with a heel hook.
Bryan will now go on to face Samoa Joe, who was on special guest commentary duty for the match, on next week's SmackDown with the winner advancing to the Money In The Bank ladder match.
Joe and Bryan have a long history of matches against each other dating back to their very first in-ring collision in 2002.
Nakamura selects title match stipulation
Shinsuke Nakamura confirmed he will face AJ Styles in a Last Man Standing Match at Money In The Bank, with the WWE title on the line.
The Japanese star earned the right to nominate the match stipulation by beating Styles in London last week, and confirmed his choice last night.
Nakamura stalled on his selection, leading to a brawl which ended with a Kinshasa outside of the ring before he took to the mic to make the reveal.
Lana, Naomi qualify for ladder match
With more than a healthy dash of assistance from Aiden English, Lana was celebrating a very happy Lana Day as she overcame Billie Kay to book her place in the women's ladder match at Money In The Bank.
The Ravishing Russian will compete for the briefcase after beating one half of The IIconics in short order after Peyton Royce became pre-occupied with taking out English.
She will be joined in the contest by Naomi, whose qualification victory came at the expense of Sonya Deville.
