Rio talks to start 'shortly'

Rio Ferdinand's agent has told Sky Sports News that contract talks are planned with Man Utd 'shortly'.

Rio has been without a doubt the best defender in the premier league this season. Him and Vidic are probably the best central defensive partnership in the world therefore this is great news. However I hope that the negotiaions don't go on for as long as last time and that Rio isn't as greedy, although he is worth more than John Terry. (ferdinand should be england's captain!)
