A very resounding victory for UNITED that could have been 10 nil. Before now its been how unitted has been knocked out by german sides. That was the CHORUS.Not one mention of United's win over wolfsburg. Why? Please you guys give credit to Team MANCHESTER UNITED.In the QF against chelsea,it was that undeserving suspect chelsea 2-1 victory at OT even after United 1nil advantage. Its time to get behind the only surviving and best club in the land who many still say'are not playing well' and give them all the support in the finals against Barca or Madrid at wembley....yes wembley.congrats next stop and the Premiership rapped up.

Congrats to Manchester! Nobody really knows how Schalke could come that far, alone in Germany there are four or five better teams than them. Only Neuer, Raul and Farfan are above average.

Nicely played United good performance, Neuer what a keeper !, (Dean B why o why are you commenting on a United page but also nice to see you care about an opposing team so much you took time out to comment, you probably comment more on United articles than liverpool because we are aways in the headlines pal.

Dean B, the rivalry between Man U and Liverpool has always been there and will never change (2 great sides) but one thing has always been clear, when it comes to CL the english sides have always supported each other no matter who it is. I am i life long Man U supporter and I would always support any english side still in tjhe comp! You should try it! Roll on Utd!

Neuer, played class, absolutely class, reminded me and my dad of the the Big Dane back in the day. The team played very well and patiently to break down a stubborn yet open Schalke team. If Neuer plays well at O.T and gets a warm applause from ALL of O.T, you never know he may change his mind about wanting to go Munich! But boys, finish the job in a week and one day, and lets keep this double on track!

Why don't all the pathetic jealous liverpoop fans crawl back under there stones it's a wonder they have time to support there own club considering how much time they observe us they are just pathetic loosers dreaming of a great club like ours.

Not to take anything away from Man United, but what an incredibly poor performance by Schalke that was. How they put 7 past Inter is beyond me. I can't recall a worse performance by a team in the semis in ages, and by the home team? Rubbish.. Fair play to Man United, you can only beat what's put in front of you - nothing except Manuel Neuer today - and sailed through. You've got some way to go to be named winners though, there's still a small matter of beating either Barcelona or Real Madrid first. Beating a very, very poor Schalke 2-0 doesn't strike fear in opponents - beating Real Madrid 5-0 does.

Debbie, you're brainwashed, name one thing carrick actually did, how many chances did we create? 15? And carrick wasn't involved in any, schalke left carrick completely alone and he still couldnt do anything with the ball. If Anderson was playing instead of him then it would have easily been 4. Great performance lads, hit top gear when it matters. Champ final here we come.

Dean B (Liverpool fan) : You make me laugh. You support Liverpool so your English? So why do you want Spanish teams to win Manchester United? Hopefully United can bring back the trophy for English football!

Dean B: are you by any chance hoping United get beat on home soil because you're not in the CL? And won't be for at least another year? Tough luck mate, enjoy your trophy less drought.

Thanks for your opinion Dean B. I can almost sense the bitterness from your message and I can almost taste your salty tears. I hope Liverpool can qualify for the Europa League next year because I love chanting 'Thursday Night Channel Five'.

one sided or not you still have to put teams like this to bed,and it was goodnight very early,BUT Barca or Real will be a different story and if either of them play like we know they can Man U might just be having nightmares after the final....

I agree with Scott Gittins, if this guy is all that I think he is then Sir Alex need s to keep his eye in him, and it seems likehe is a good shot-stopper...furthemore Arsenal had better pray that United don't bring their scoring boots, if we do then how many will score....but we are not there yet....
