very nice city but could you do that to barcelona?

The whole of Manchester is united tonight in being blue ;-)

Yes city were better, but they still didn't play very well. They got 10 men behind the ball when defending and carved open a very poor man united team on the counter. Even if Evans had stayed on the pitch, I think United would've still lost. They didn't press the ball, they were too slow in possession, gave city to much space and just weren't good enough by a long way today. Credit where credit is due, city deserved it. Also, Silva's pass for the 6th goal was phenomenal, on the half volley, outside of the boot and split the two centre backs in half. Awesome. Every team should have a Spanish player!

Has no one realised that in about the last 3 minutes of the game city scored 3 times? For the frailties of united a 3-1 defeat would have been acceptable but another lapse in concentration from the defence made it 4 after that with a team so sky high in confidence(city) and united dejected its not so difficult to see how it became 6 so quickly. This is once in a blue moon result and the sort of wake up call they needed. A big win against everton can almost be guaranteed.

oooo to hear all the bitterness, makes me happy, £325 million, we've just spent all out money at once ( like the wife does), just like the fans from the theatre of comedy spent their money over twenty years, the same as chelsea, but to hear all the bitterness from the everton fans, sorry guys your club could'nt even buy a pie and a pint from our ground now - relegation in 2 years boys me thinks, the blue moon rising watch out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's amazing how people STILL go on about the money City have spent. Remember, 20 years ago United were splashing the money around and getting results like this. What comes around, goes around eh? Told you Manchester was blue.
Posted 19:24 23rd October 2011
every one is still making comments regarding the money that we have, do you think honestly if any other club in england had the money we have they wouldnt do the same thing, wake up haters, jelousy is a bad thing!!!!!! great performance, great result get in city BLUE MOON !!!!!!!

look at the stats you were overall outplayed. to say you was the better team till the sending off is a joke. you had a good 20 minutes but went in 1 nil down at half time. soon as the first went in we got on top of things. richards gave you all a warning to be afraid.

We lost...we lost 5-0 to chelsea in 1998/99 season and won the treble...wait till cleverley comes back and we start playin well again.... Problems 1) we havent replaced scholes 2) smallind jones vidic evra(needs to improve) shud b d backline 3) people here pls understand dat sneijder cannot play in a 4-4-2 formation...he plays behind a striker...we would concede even more...what we need is cleverley back and either anderson to imrove or a player like modric who can play creatively in a 4-4-2..... 4) this is a blow but a team capable of being where it is tiday after the munich air disaster, i hav full confidence that we would challengw for honours... all fans pls remain UNITED!!!!!!!!!!

IT IS DEFINATELY NOT DAVID DE GEA'S FAULT. IT WAS ONLY BECAUSE OF THE MIDFIELD AND THE DEFENCE. IT IS AN TERRIBLE DAY FOR MAN U, FERGIE, THE FANS AND MYSELF. I AM DEVESTATED!!!!!
Posted 19:03 23rd October 2011
United missed a scholes in the midfeild and what was up giggs . but city were superb and are going to take some beating this season . Silva the best player in the prem by a country mile .
Posted 19:00 23rd October 2011
Darren Fletcher is the worst player. absolutely loser. No exist. poor defense poor offensive. always lateral pass.

I completely agree with everything "Dalton Quilty (Manchester United fan)" says! Evans should be lucky to start for a lot of lesser clubs with the amount of mistakes that lad makes, Anderson can be quality but only shows it now and again which is no good. Defenders playing out of position as usuall. Rio looking useless, Evera looking as professional as ever i.e useless. Fletcher is ok but certainly in my opinion isn't a United first team player, despite a good goal. Welbeck is showing form but never picked over an even more in form Hernandez. And I have not seen a lot wrong with the majority of De Gea's performances, I think he has shown quality.........he had some nerves in the first few games but still managed to pull off some great saves but now I think he is looking solid. He is simply let down by a useless defence and sloppy midfield. Too much rotation of in form players these days!!!

haha a token Everton fan states £300 million spent blah blah sour grapes you stick to out of contract players and freebies. City deserved the win and am soo happy but you reds don't be too disheartened the score did not reflect on Rooney still a great player will run 70 yards to help his defence now not many forwards will do that.

what the hell was that mark clatenburg

Posted 18:20 23rd October 2011
this is worse than the 8-2 for arsenal. at least arsenal were missing nearly their whole first choice team.....just sayin....
