Its sir SAF mistake, and he should take it on. We dont have to cry for midfield, if you look at the game United were all over City in the first 30 Minutes: But the error was to Play Rio + Evans they are both so slow. How on earth can SAF explain to keep Vidic + Jones out of the first starting up against a team of city calibre?

Finally Man U defence has shown exactly how poor it is. Ferdinand finished 2 years ago, Evans never any good, Evra lost all the qualities he had a couple of seasons ago too worried about moaning about anything, Smalling - Arsenal got one lucky escape not signing him not even a Championship player in my opinion and as for De Gea, poor Lindegaard he must be in shock he's behind De Gea in the pecking order. Now for the midfied, Fletcher in fairness still not fully back to his best still a quality player, Anderson very talented but completely wasted in postions he's been used, Young only plays for a few minutes in every game drifts in and out too easy and as for Nani words can't describe my opinion of him. Finally for the forwards Rooney great player but trying too much Hollywood passing he can't do it like Xavi or Alonso I'm afraid the there's Wellbeck "The Ghost" never does anything in any game I've seen. Berbatov has to leave top scorer last season and now can't get a game what a waste of an unbelievable talent. I think is time for Man U to step aside and become the noisey neighbours. Great day all round :)

James Kelly (Manchester United fan) says...

Well done to city, we were horrible and there's no way around it. It's just unfortunate that the only person in the world who thinks are midfield is decent is ferguson and this game won't change that. He will hide behind the classic wenger line "our team is young and will progress". Anderson and Evans should never be allowed into Old Trafford again as they are a disgrace to this club. Also all the people asking for a new midfielder should just give up because Sir Alex is way too stubborn to listen to his fans.

Fact 1. City beat United in every department today. Fact 2. Its nothing more than three points. Fact 3. United are still a world class side. Fact 4. City have spent no more in two years than United have spent in the last how many years has the PL been going.

Neil Griffiths (Arsenal fan) says...

As an arsenal fan i feel vindicated and overjoyed , having watched the game in the pub earlier , it feels so good to have seen Man U get a taste of their own medicine , not so much taunts of "8-2 be an arsenal fan" , rather it's 6-1 half dozen of the other for United :-D

Shane Green (Liverpool fan) says...

Man Utd spend peanuts and Man City spend the size of a third word deficit! Man City wont win again 6-1 but no one fears Man United any more. All teams will give Man Utd a go now so Liverpool if they are in touch at the top in New Year then we will finish second!!

To all the Utd fans jibbering abt LFC comments today, if you don't like it you should let go of your LFC obsession and get off the LFC forums (fora) watching everything that we do. You were well and truly beaten today by a far superior squad!

Graham Gobell (Arsenal fan) says...

Well, after having to put up with the Manu Utd fans gloating about then beating Arsenal, wht do they say "What goes around, comes around" Well done City, especially as you have half off our team joined you.

Disappointed with the loss. We will come back stronger. We haven't won 19 league titles just like that. We will wait for the end of season results. Yeah time for Evans and Rio Ferdinand to be sold off.

The One who must be blamed for that shame is Berbatov. Chickchirik and Shrek played well, but Berba was bad!!!

First of all I would like to say big well done to man city, but let¿s see if you can push on from it. but as a man utd fan I would like to say no matter whether you have 9,10,or 11 men on the field of play you should be able to defend and today utd just didn't know how to defend and played as individuals and not a team, and when will fergie see that evra is not that good his positional play is terrible I was not at all surprised to see that city 2nd and 3rd came from our left as evra went walkies again, I will be the first to admit I thought city would struggle to play as a team with all those stars but they showed to me that they can. And to lose 3 goals in injury time is scan doulas. I just hope fergie looks at this and sticks to the same defence all the time when possible and not tinker with it game after game, look at Newcastle their defence has played every game of the season together and understand each other. just to sum up utd were terrible and got what we deserved on the day, but lets see how it looks at the end of the season many more games to go come on man utd.

I am absolutely loving it. Its superb reading all the excuses from all the man utd fans who simply cant handle it - its exquisite. Thank you so much for a game that will be replayed for years and years to come, etched into the memories of everyone worldwide. Can't wait to see the match just to see the look on everyone's faces.

Matt Henderson (Manchester United fan) says...

Fair play to City- the outplayed us today. No excuses. But what makes me laugh reading this is all the Arsenal, Liverpool etc fans celebrating. Its a 2 or 3 horse race this season and that doesnt involve you. Concentrate on your own teams. Best comment of the day was a Liverpool fan saying they are going to win the league. That cheered me up slightly.
