Just heard on a local Liverpool radio station that Liverpool are on the verge of a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund right back Phillip Deggen. The Swiss international right back is out of contract in the summer and Benitez has swooped early to capture his man. Liverpool were very highly linked with Schalke 04's Rafinha but it looks as if Liverpool are having to take the cheaper option again.....

I've been hearing quite a few rumours that David Villa wants to come and play for Arsenal next season as we are the team that most suites his style of play! i would love him to come as i feel he is a top player and would fit perfectly in to our squad. I would also like to see wenger sign Ben Arfa (Lyon) Arshinavan (Zenit) Yaya Toure (Barcelona) and Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid) think it's time we spent some money and really put ourselves back on the map! feel Senderos, Eboue, Gallas, Gilberto, really should call it a day as this season they simply just have'nt been good enough!

David Bentley, and Gareth Barry would be all we need to strengthen our squad !Gerrard in the middle with those two either side of him would be really impressive !Not only would it be good for Liverpool, but the England set up too !Pennant needs to go, along with Kewell...they are both well past their sell by dates !Come on LFC lets get back to where we belong !

rumours around leeds suggest that jermaine beckford is going to sign for west brom in the summer not derby county with them offering 1.5 million and craig beattie for the striker. beckford is surely worth more than that and beattie isnt a proven goal scorer, if beckford needed replacing get maynard from crewe he is a proven goal scorer.

Arsenal need to sign a little bit of experience a lot more strength in depth. Losing Flamini would be a disaster, he should be made captain in order to persuade him to sign a new contract. Another srtiker, hopefully a class performer like Benzema. Much as Almunia's not done bad for us this season we need a new keeper, Frey or Gomes are the two I've heard. Another winger to add strength in depth is needed (Pires and Ljunberg on the wings doesn't seem even comparable to Eboue and Diaby) I've heard Ribery is interested in working with Wenger. Finallly a centre back, I've heard Metzelder, Garay, Kompany, Taylor (newcastle) and Cris all linked.

Gareth Southgate has recently stated in the local papers thath he doesnt need to sell any of his squad in the summer........rubbish. Mark Schwatzer Andrew Taylor Julio Arca Gary O'neil Lee Cattermole & Adam Johnston are nowere near the quality of players the boro fans want to see. I am sick and tired of the press saying Gary O'neil has been our star man this season let me tell you he hasnt. Fair enough he has great work rate put in the premier league workrate is not enough. You tell me the last time O'neil scored this season ? He hasnt ! I cant even remember him getting an assist ! Lets moove on to Arca our second midfield muppet. He can only kick with his left foot. It baffles me how premier league footballers can only kick with one foot ! He doesnt make a challenge. As the supposdley attacking player in the middle of midfield he doesnt even thread a killer ball through. Sorry about the rant but its the truth. 2 central midfieders a left back a striker and a goalkeeper in the summer or boro in bother next season. Die Hard Boro Fan !

Ramos has £60mill+ for summer spending + whatever he raises in sales, and there is a clearout on the way!!Top inside source says Diego is coming (agreed to sign 4 years ago but couldnt get work permit), Alex from fenerbache & Downing to sort out left side issue,Rafinha from Schalke at RB, Kerzhakov from Sevilla upfront to complete front 4, and Kameni in goal. Loads out - Lee, Chimbonda, Gilberto, Tanio, Dawson (possibly Berbatov if bid is big enough). Looks like 5th next season...

Official news from Newcastle United fc is that Keegan will be spending a maximum £60million in the summer. He wants to by at least 6 top quality players and more younger players to make up the numbers. Those 5 players include 2 defenders 2 midfielders and 1 striker, I heard the 2 defenders will be Wayne bridge 6m and Sol Campbell free. The 2 midfielders will be Raffel Van Der Vaart 12m and Jimmy Bullard 5m and the striker will be Luis Fabiano 15m. I also heard a few younger players that are ready to sign. Gomis for 7m, Ramsey 3m, Mountinho 2m, Beveers 2m and vokes 1.5m. Keegan said that they will be a clear out of at least 6 players he didnt mentioned who they were but I think it could possibly be Rozehnal, Cacapa, Carr, duff, smith, ameobi and possibly Nzogbia. By the end of next season we will be in europe theres no dout!

I have heard news that Barca are willing to let Henry go if the right price comes in for him. Henry says he wants to retrun to London because of his daughter but he doesn't want to return to Arsenal. I have also heard that Chelsea are the front runners to sign him.

As a Liverpool fan does anyone else think that after analysing what Tom Hicks has said that maybe he's actually on to something regarding Rick Parry. I admit I have never been a fan of Parry's as he in my opinion has never done anything for the club. Remember the fiasco surrounding Gerrard's contract after the 2005 CL Final and the ticket application and allocation for Athens. Maybe he doesn't want Hicks to get full control as he knows the pressure will be on him and he sees Gillett as a better option as he's bit of a soft touch, and it was Gillett who instigated the Klinsman talks and not Hicks. Interested to see if anyone agrees.

Wanted to start by saying I hope N'Zogbia leaves toon in summer, no loyalty at all shown from him, toon dont need players like that, hope these lot follow aswell; Cacapa, Carr, Duff, Barton, Geremi, Rozenhal, Viduka and Smith. I would try and sign the following; Crouch (Liverpool), Lennon (Spurs), Metzelder (Real Madrid), Brown (man Utd), Richards (man city), Riise (Liverpool), Bentley (Blackburn), Beavers (sheff wed) Vokes (Bournemouth). If NUFC could get these players I think we could be at least challenging for uefa cup places and I think there respective teams could be tempted to sell if the money was right.

i think that Drogba is off to AC milan in the summer cause he dosen't get on with Avram Grant and i think David Villa would be a perfect replacment. Also i think James Beattie is a quality championship striker although that hatrick against Leicster was great and there is no dening his goal tally this season is impressive. I recks he should stick with Sheff U. Chelsea can never ave Barry he wouldn't leave Villa 4 all the money in the world he is that comitted and is a legend.

i heard from a very good source that chris colman, the sky blues manager is going to try sign in the summer.....david healy, kasper schmicheal, harry kewell & jimmy bullard. all have had talks with the gaffer & are very intersted as the sky blues have a 2 year plan which will be reviled in the summer to become a premish team and then in 3 years after become a force in the league

Big Possibility that sunderland will be going in for Wes brown of Man United, Damien Duff of the mags , steve sidwell could be on his way on loan as chelski forgot they bought him and Diego Forlan could be on his way for around 10 millionas he wants a second chance in the prem! We need to go and get Jonny Evans as he will be one of the best centre halves in England in a few years!!! We need a centre mid to replace captain whitehead as hes a joke!!! a right wing as edwards is always injured!! then we will be ok next year . . . probably a mid-table team

I think Aguero would be a great signing for Liverpool and would be the ideal partner for Torres. He has all the attributes to make it in the EPL. Bentley for the right wing, Rafinha for right back and possibly a left back then we will be good enough
