Hi, Peter. While I agree with your sentiments about Blues currently, when you look at the injury list we've had this season culmilating in a lack of consistency in team selection forced upon Lee Clark, it goes some way into showing why we are where we are. During the season we've very rarely had a settled midfield with Burke losing form, Mullins, Diop, Fahey, Ambrose, Spector and Gomis all getting injured at some point. Morrison isn't disciplined enough to play a midfield role properly meaning that the likes of Callum Reilly have been thrown into the mix. Then in defence, Caldwell has lacked form, Ibanez has been injured, Carr and Murphy are out for the season meaning Will Packwood and Mitch Hancox have been thrown into the XI. Then recently over Christmas we had no strikers! While I don't like using the excuse of injuries, it's clear that we are a club currently that isn't just lacking in funds or the ability to sign players, but we're also lacking consistency in team selection, player form and a winning mentality. The young lads have done an excellent job with the club but they need the right guidance. Have to say that the next week will be vital for our season. Jack Butland, Curtis Davies, Marlon King, Nikola Zigic, Nathan Redmond... will they stay or will they go?

Re: your comments on Birmingham - finally somone who is saying it like it is - we are vastly under performing even with the injuries we've had. Given those injuries, we shouldnt expect to be challenging at the top, but a team with Butland, Davies, Burke, King, Zigic, Lovenkrands in it should NOT be battling relegation. One man to blame for that, the clueless Lee Clark.
